Gabriela Glaus

Professional Singer, Artist and Teacher of Yoga, Awareness and Meditation

I am Gabriela Glaus, a professional singer, artist, and teacher of yoga, mindfulness, and meditation. Through my work, I guide women, children, and mothers into loving spaces of inner peace, harmony, mindfulness, and balance.

Singing, music, artistic expression, and a refined gift of perception have accompanied me since my earliest childhood. They form the foundation of who I am and of my professional path.

From a very young age, my musical, spiritual, and athletic nature became apparent. Singing, music, movement, a deep connection to nature and rhythm, as well as a natural sense for artistic expression, were part of my life from the beginning. This holistic view of life, the connection between voice, body, perception, and artistic expression, continues to shape my work to this day.

My own path first led me deeply into the world of singing. The voice is my most intimate talent and the field in which I have trained, deepened, and specialized professionally over many years. Since 1999, I have pursued continuous education in vocal training and singing, and have had the privilege of working with internationally renowned singers, stage artists, and some of the world’s leading vocal coaches from the United States.

Alongside singing, my holistic view of life, as well as dance, bodywork, movement, and high-performance sport, have also shaped my path. Through the career of my father, Gilbert Glaus, who made Swiss cycling history, I came into contact early on with professional high-performance sport, discipline, and the overcoming of physical and mental limits. From 1994 to 2006, I was active in mountain bike cross-country racing. For many years, I was a serial winner throughout Western Switzerland and, as a member of the Swiss National Team, ranked among the top 15 female mountain bike racers in the world. This period took me beyond physical and mental boundaries and strengthened my physical and mental resilience, discipline, endurance, willpower, and deep connection to holistic health, movement, and inner strength.

Over the years, it became increasingly clear to me how deeply the expression of the voice, emotional, physical, spiritual, mental, and psychological health, silence, breath, and movement are interconnected and influence one another. This realization first led me onto a naturopathic path and soon thereafter onto the yogic path. A long-term apprenticeship followed under the guidance of a wise Indian master, in anonymity and seclusion, in the heart of nature. The art of sacred chanting, meditation, and yoga became part of my daily life. From this experience, my work as it is today gradually emerged: a holistic combination of artistic, pedagogical, and mindfulness-based meditative guidance.

For many years, I have worked with women, children, and families. Through this work, I have experienced how valuable it is to offer women, children, and mothers spaces in which they do not have to perform, but may instead have the time and space to release the pace of everyday life, recover, and return fully to their own center. Spaces in which movement is not about achievement, but about connection, mindfulness, and harmony. Spaces in which calm, closeness, lightness, and harmony are allowed to arise.

Today, I combine my meditative, artistic, and pedagogical work with holistic elements of yoga, mindfulness, sound healing, and meditation. It is especially close to my heart to offer women, children, and their mothers a nourishing counterbalance to their often hectic everyday lives: a space and moment of calm and harmony, in which the nervous system may settle, new lightness can unfold, a sense of well-being is strengthened, and the mother-child connection, particularly in Mother & Child Yoga, is lovingly nourished.

In my offerings for women, children, and mothers, the focus is not on performance, but on well-being, mindfulness, relaxation, loving connection, and a healthy sense of life.

I work with presence, a strong gift of perception, great sensitivity, patience, and a holistic view of life, nature, and the human being. My work is shaped by my experience as a singer and artist, my many years of pedagogical work with women and children, and my in-depth training and practice in meditation, sound healing, yoga, music, and holistic health.
